Our all-day festival for flash fiction, including a workshop, two panels, and readings featuring award-winning local writers was a success! Thank you to our workshop leader, panelists, and readers, and a big thanks to @anotherintro and @hootreview for co-hosting this event with us. We had so much fun, learned a lot, and can’t wait to do it again. What is Flash Fiction? Flash fiction is a fictional work of extreme brevity that still offers character and plot development. Typically defined by a word count of 500 to 1,500 words. Some commentators have suggested that flash fiction possesses a unique literary quality in its ability to hint at or imply a larger story.
